Anna Sagalova, piano
Anna Sagalova is well-known Ukrainian pianist and an Honoured Artist of Ukraine. She completed her education at Kharkiv national university of arts and a postgraduate course at the University of Music Franz Liszt in Weimar (Germany). She also recently earned a Doctoral degree in Arts from the Kharkiv I.P.K. National University. Anna Sagalova frequently plays as a soloist with symphony orchestras and gives solo concerts in Ukraine, Poland, Austria Spain, Germany, Canada. Her performances have been broadcast on radio and television.
Anna is an internationally recognized artist and a laureate of many musical contests in Italy, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Canada and Germany. She frequently plays as a soloist with symphony orchestras throughout Ukraine under the baton of conductors from Ukraine, USA, Switzerland, Great Britain, Austria, etc.
She has taken part in a number of festivals, including the Days of Ukrainian Culture festival in Poznan (Poland), Music festivals in Vigo (Spain), Trier (Germany), the International Music Festival in Lubostron (Poland), the International festival of chamber music in Shanghai (China), Kiev-Music-Fest (Ukraine), and Kharkiv Assemblies (Ukraine). Her performances have been broadcasted on radio and television. She has recorded two compact discs.
Since 2022 she is teaching at Vancouver international school of music.
Her concert activity in Canada is very intensive - there are numerous concerts in Vancouver, Toronto, Halifax, Moncton, Parksville, Nanaimo, Abbotsford, Ladner, Surrey. Her aim is to help Ukraine and to popularize Ukrainian classical music.
Denys Pachenko, guitar
Denys Panchenko is well-known guitarist, composer and teacher in Ukraine. He graduated a Master degree at the Kharkiv National University of Arts named after I.P. Kotlyarevsky. He has more than 20 years of teaching experience as a leading Methodist teacher at the Kharkiv Professional Music College. During this time, he trained many talented students who became laureates of more than 100 national and international competitions.
Denys is a concert guitarist, he is laureate of several international music competitions, and gives solo recitals frequently all over Ukraine. His repertoire includes both classical works as well as his own compositions written in a more modern and free manner. As a soloist he was invited to play with different symphony, folk and chamber orchestras throughout Ukraine.
Denys Panchenko is also a very popular guitar composer in Ukraine, he is a laureate of international competitions for composers and his music is performed both in Ukraine and abroad. His pieces can often be heard at guitar festivals and competitions in different countries.
